La 8 e o chestie faina, avem acelasi phrasal cu doua sensuri: run somebody down = a denigra pe cineva; run down = epuizat
“let down her colleagues behind their backs” ar insemna “ii dezamageste …pe la spate”, ceea ce nu are sens 🙂
